My name is Francisco Vazquez, but most people know me as Paco. Originally from Spain, I've been living in Vienna since 2020. With six years of experience as a school counselor, I've worked extensively with children facing behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges, offering both individual and group counseling. Additionally, I provide valuable support to parents and teachers through consultations and workshops.
In terms of my qualifications, I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and two Master's degrees related to School Counseling - one in Psychological Intervention and Prevention of Behavior Problems in School and another in Teaching in Secondary Schools (specializing in Educational Guidance).
Furthermore, I have completed a third Master's program in Management, Innovation, and Leadership of Educational Institutions. To enhance my expertise, I have pursued complementary courses in areas such as Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) implementation, Social and Emotional Learning, Zones of Regulation, and Bullying Prevention.

My counseling philosophy is grounded in the understanding that every child possesses distinct strengths and challenges, requiring a tailored approach to address each individual's needs. I strive to establish a safe and supportive environment where children can freely explore their thoughts and emotions, develop effective coping skills, and build meaningful connections with others.
In both my personal and professional life, I wholeheartedly embrace a growth mindset, viewing challenges as opportunities for learning and growth. I encourage people to do the same by seeking creative strategies to independently solve their problems, fostering resilience and perseverance.
Outside work, I find joy in hiking, writing, reading, and spending quality time with my loved ones. I am also passionate about learning languages and have achieved proficiency in several, including English, Mandarin, and Italian. Endurance running is my preferred sport.
